![]() ![]() ![]() So if you are in the mood to visit the Zoo, I would recommend this. And growing up in the area, I can tell you it is probably the best Zoo that the Panhandle of Florida offers. While the kids obviously love it, I am an adult, and I enjoy going there by myself. There are talks, and the zoo keepers are often around to answer your questions. It is a small community zoo with a nice variety of animals. Hotels are listed in order of distance from Gulf Breeze Zoo. ![]() ![]() For those of you driving a good distance, understand that this is not a large zoo like San DIego, or Asheboro. Gulf Breeze Zoo is located in Pensacola, Florida. This Zoo has been in existence for a long time and it has not only greatly improved over the years, but I would challenge anyone who says the place is run down. These animals have to be fed and get veterinary care, as well as general overhead for the park. It is really not that high, considering the variety of animals that they do have. I noticed that several people complained about the fee. Parking is free and there is an entrance fee. And don’t miss the 50-acre Gulf Breeze Zoo. Gulf Breeze also offers terrific seafood and inviting beaches. Tickle the tummies of the adorable bat-eared fox family and Meet and greet with the zoo’s own African crested porcupines, Quillary Clinton and Quillard Scott! Later this year we will begin construction on the most amazing sloth habitat around! This year we unveiled a brand new alligator experience area that is home to 40 yearling gators and will make sure that your Florida vacation is what dreams are made of.ĭo you love Capybaras? Visit with “Coconut” in an up-close animal experience and enjoy the best capybara cuddles ever! “Coconut” is a very special capybara who has been raised by our fantastic animal care staff. This year we are continuing our trend of award winning improvements and interactive facility upgrades. This place is wilder than the beach at spring break! Its a great place to take a break from the beach and create lasting family memories! ZooWorld Zoological Park, located in beautiful Panama City Beach, Florida is home to exotic animals from all over the world and you won’t need binoculars to see them!
